The Great, Great Grandson of a circus ringmaster and the son of travelling showman, the magic of putting on a show drew him to the theatre at an early age, but it was the moving image that eventually consumed his imagination. Oliver began his career as a Director of Photography and Editor, winning two RTS Awards for “Best Non-Broadcast Factual Programme” (2009, 2010). His debut feature VERVE was nominated for Best Debut Feature at the London Independent Film Awards 2016 under the banner of his production company Ambitious Motion Pictures.

She was a founding editor at New York magazine’s Vulture website. She recently released the book Alright, Alright, Alright: The Oral History of Richard Linklater’s Dazed and Confused. Alright, Alright, Alright is the story of how this iconic film came together and why it worked. Combining behind-the-scenes photos and insights from nearly the entire cast, including Matthew McConaughey, Parker Posey, Ben Affleck, Joey Lauren Adams, and many others, and with full access to Linklater’s Dazed archives, it offers an inside look at how a budding filmmaker and a cast of newcomers made a period piece that would feel timeless for decades to come.

Evan Kidd sits down with Dan Perlman. Dan is a comedian, writer, and director from New York City. He is currently the executive producer, co-creator-writer-star of Showtime’s critically-acclaimed comedy series, FLATBUSH MISDEMEANORS. Dan co-created the award-winning digital series of the same name, which served as the foundation for the Showtime show. Made on zero-budget, the first installment became Oscar-qualified after winning the Grand Jury Award for Best Narrative Short at the 2018 Florida Film Festival. As a stand-up, Dan has been featured on Comedy Central and was named one of the New Faces at the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival. His writing has also appeared in The New Yorker. Previously, Dan created and wrote an animated series, THAT’S MY BUS!, which received a pilot order from FOX, and appeared on THE ILIZA SCHLESINGER SKETCH SHOW on Netflix.

In 2020, her science fiction novella, “Reenu-You” about a mysterious virus transmitted through a hair care product was published by Falstaff Books. Michele’s work explores psychological horror, especially through issues of race and gender.

Evan speaks with Team USA hurdler & filmmaker Johnny Dutch. Johnny is also the subject of Evan’s five year documentary “Run of the Picture”, releasing on Amazon Prime Video on April 13th, 2019. Born and raised in Raleigh, NC, Johnny attended Clayton High School before making his way to Columbia and the University of South Carolina, where he earned a degree in Media Arts. At 19, he was 5th at the 2008 Olympic Trials, three-tenths on a second from making the team. Johnny holds a top-5 rank in the world and has represented Team USA at the World Championships in 2009 and 2015.

NANCE released his first studio album No Excuses in April of 2018. In preparation for the album, NANCE successfully crowdfunded $10,724 through Kickstarter help finalize, shoot music videos, and promote his new music.
